Registered dietitian (RD) goes through very similar training pathway as nurses and psychotherapists. RD has 3.5-4 years of undergraduate education, over 1500 hours supervised practice in various healthcare centers & clinics, get registered with the provincial board, and continuing education to maintain our RD credential.

Anyone with online course in nutrition can call themselves a “nutritionist“, but Registered Dietitian is the most trusted source of advice that takes into account your medical & psych & social & lifestyle factors and your personal goals.

Consultation services are all HST-exempt (i.e. you do not have to pay tax to see a Registered Dietitian). Individual insurance receipts can be provided if required for reimbursement. It is often covered by employee extended insurance. Check your health benefits plan or confirm with your insurance provider.
